Since the 11th Let’s Liberate Diversity! meeting has been postponed due to the COVID-19 emergency, the European Coordination LLD organized here a series of “On Air” webinars.
From Monday 25th to Thursday 28th May 2020, 4 online events were held. The webinars managed to reach small seed savers associations and networks, farmers, researchers. A total of 80 participants from different countries attended.

Riccardo Bocci (Rete Semi Rurali, DYNAVERSITY partner) gave an update about the FAO Treaty, in particular the Art. 6 (Sustainable use) and 9 (Farmers’ Rights). He attended the last session of the Governing Body of the Treaty and showed the outcomes.
The webinar helped to understand the legal framework around agrobiodiversity, how to work with it and how to exchange seeds.
